Pensiunea Cartref se afla in Saschiz, judetul Mures, pe E60, la 100 de km de Brasov si 18 km de Sighisoara. Pensiunea este amenajata intr-o veche casa saseasca din 1909, renovata in 2008, in stilul baroc sasesc.
Casa a pastrat, unde a fost posibil, tamplaria si incuietorile originale, grinzile si elementele de constructie si arhitectura precum si o parte din mobilierul de acum 100 de ani.
Sunt 6 camere, dintre care 4 cu pat matrimonial si 2 cu paturi twin. Patru dintre camere au vedere spre strada si cetatea taraneasca si doua dintre camere au vedere spre curtea pensiunii. Parcarea masinilor se face in curtea pazita a pensiunii. Fiecare camera are Tv prin cablu, grup sanitar propriu si internet wireless.
Pensiunea dispune de 2 sali-pivnitele Dorotheei-pentru servirea mesei si relaxare.
Daca se urmeaza poteca pietruita din livada, se poate ajunge in padurea de pini ce margineste gradina si apoi la stadionul de fotbal si ringul de dans sasesc. Se pot inchiria biciclete de la pensiune si se poate vizita magazinul de suveniruri de la pensiune.
La 30 km distanta se afla scoala de calarie si manejul de la Domeniul Dracul din Danes. La 60 km distanta se afla partia de schi de la Baile Homorod. De la pensiune se pot face excursii pe jos sau cu bicicleta pe vechile drumuri sasesti ce leaga satele intre ele. La 30 minute distanta se pot vizita bisericile fortificate si cetatile de la Rupea, Viscri, Sighisoara si Biertan. La cerere, se organizeaza petrecerea unei zile la stana lui Ionut, unde puteti participa direct la activitatile stanei, de la mulsul oilor pana la prepararea branzeturilor, activitati finalizate cu o imbelsugata masa traditionala la stana si relaxare pe patul de fan. La cerere se poate organiza transportul turistilor de la gara din Sighisoara si de la aeroporturile din Sibiu si Targu Mures.
Pension Cartref is situated in Saschiz village, Mures county, on the European road E 60, at 100 km from Brasov and 18 km from Sighisoara. The pension is in an old Saxon house, built in 1909, renovated in 2008 preserving the old Saxon baroque style. The original woodstock, beams and locks have been preserved whenever possible as well as other architectural details 1oo years old. There are 6 rooms from which 4 have double/french beds and 2 have twin beds. Out of the 6 rooms, a number of 4 are facing the road and the fortress on the hill and 2 are facing the courtyard of the house. The cars can be parked inside the guarded court. Each room has its own bathroom with permanent hot water, cable Tv and free wireless internet. Access to the pension’s internet and computer is provided for those who did not bring their laptops. Dinning rooms, coffee bar and the relaxation rooms are hosted in Dorotheea’s cellars at half underground. An open air grill for barbecue and a covered terrace can be used in the courtyard. One can follow the path in the pension’s vegetable garden and get directly into the pine forest, to the football stadium and the old Saxon dance place on the top of the hill. Bicycles are provided (rented) for our tourists and can be used to reach, using the old roads between the Saxon villages, while visiting the fortified Evangelic churches and the defense fortresses in Sighisoara, Rupea, Brasov, Biertan, Viscri, Mesendorf etc. One can rent and ride horses or take horse riding lessons at Dracula Complex riding school in Danes, near Sighisoara. At 60 km from Saschiz, one can sky on Baile Homorod slops.
